Lot Attendant/Porter - Sales Department job at New Century Volkswagen Glendale, CA, US

Job Description

New Century Volkswagen seeks a motivated and energetic **Lot Porter** to join our Sales team! As a key member of our dealership, you will help ensure complete customer satisfaction by managing the movement and upkeep of our vehicles and Sales area. Responsibilities:

Maintain the appearance and performance of our inventory by:
Cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles
Replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed
Replacing batteries when necessary
Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
Keep lots neat and orderly by moving cars as directed by the General Manager according to dealership display standards
Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as required
Make key tags for and manage inventory of vehicles
Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a lot porter is highly desirable
Able to work flexible schedules and some weekends
Positive attitude and a can-do mentality
Confident, outgoing personality with a strong desire to improve
High school diploma or equivalent
Professional attitude and commitment to delivering best-in-class customer service
Reliable transportation to and from work every day
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
