Job Description

Our client, an agency in NYC who is working with a financial client, is seeking a skilled and experienced Videographer/Photographer to join their Brand and Content team for a temp-to-perm role. This creative professional will play a key role in concepting, capturing, and producing high-quality video and photographic content that supports their brand storytelling across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in video production, camera operation, lighting, audio recording, and post-production editing, along with a strong understanding of visual storytelling within the financial industry. This role will be responsible for supporting internal and external events including conferences, client engagements, sponsorship activations, and executive communications. Additionally, the candidate will lead all post-production efforts, including video editing, motion graphics, photography retouching, and asset delivery for digital, social, and internal communications.
  • This is a hybrid temp-to-perm role and requires 2-days/week onsite in Midtown Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize, shoot, and produce high-quality video and photography for brand, marketing, and internal communication initiatives
  • Operate professional camera equipment, lighting, and audio tools for both studio and on-location shoots
  • Capture content during a wide range of internal and external events including conferences, client experiences, sponsorship activations, executive town halls, speaking engagements, and media appearances
  • Edit video and audio content for a variety of formats, ensuring polished, brand-aligned outputs
  • Apply motion graphics and visual effects where necessary to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement
  • Retouch and color-correct photographs to meet high visual standards
  • Collaborate closely with brand, marketing, and communications teams to align creative execution with strategic objectives
  • Manage post-production workflows including file organization, version control, and timely delivery of final assets
  • Archive and maintain a comprehensive digital asset library
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continually elevate production quality
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in video production and photography, preferably within the financial or corporate industry
  • Proven expertise in camera operation, lighting design, sound recording, and on-site production setup
  • Advanced proficiency in editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Audition
  • Strong skills in motion graphics, photo retouching, and color correction
  • Experience producing content for a wide range of channels including digital, social media, and internal platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Strong creative eye, attention to detail, and commitment to visual excellence
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively across teams and with executives
  • Flexibility to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed for events and shoots
