This position is part of the Equipment Services Team located in San Diego, CA and will be Onsite. At IDT, we are one global team. Shift: Overnight Monday - Friday 7:00pm - 3:30am OR MID-Day Monday - Friday 12:30pm - 9:00pm Please Note: New hires must be available to complete a 2-4 month training period on Day Shift (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM). In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Ensure operation of custom automated laboratory equipment by completing preventive and unplanned service in compliance with IDT's quality system. + Coordinate events with manufacturing to ensure preventative and unplanned maintenance is completed. + Gather and review data to support maintenance database for assets and instrumentation. The essential requirements of the job include: + Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidics, and optical devices/systems, as well as PLC Controlled systems. + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Two years of related experience required. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + Ability to lift, move, or carry up to 50 lbs. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Associate's degree in Engineering or Maintenance related program or equivalent technical education or experience preferred. + Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidics, optical devices/systems, controls systems and other equipment. + Familiarity with automation equipment testing and troubleshooting. The hourly range for this role is $24 - $27. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
