Express Employment is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join an amazing team in Toledo, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring that all materials are properly documented and processed efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
• Prepare and package outgoing products for shipping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipping activities
• Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries
• Perform data entry and update inventory management systems
• Assist in maintaining an organized and clean shipping and receiving area
• Report any discrepancies or damages to management
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency in shipping and receiving processes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management software
• Ability to lift heavy packages and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with shipping and transportation regulations is a plus
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
