Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Bookkeeper to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and overseeing a team of bookkeepers. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be key to providing excellent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts for a variety of clients.
- Produce and reconcile month-end financial statements for all clients.
- Supervise and support other bookkeepers to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Reconcile accounts receivables, accounts payables, and payroll for clients.
- File sales taxes and special taxes for clients.
- Contribute to special projects as needed.

Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online with 3-5 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel spreadsheets.
- Proficient with MS Outlook and MS Word.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
- Comprehensive understanding of auditing and reconciling third-party payroll reports to the general ledger.
- High level of professionalism and discretion in managing confidential information.
- Positive, service-oriented attitude and eagerness to take on new challenges.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide a team.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative team player with a positive, "can-do" attitude.

Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Proficiency in Portuguese.

Work Schedule:
- Full-Time, Monday to Friday at the office. Future remote work opportunities available.
