Primary Function

This leadership role will direct/manage/supervise the software development functions related to Portal Integrations, SharePoint, and EDI. This individual demonstrates project management acumen, is an adept leader of people, plus has a superior service-oriented approach to IT solutions delivery.

Responsibilities also include leading and setting the roadmaps and strategies, governance, policies, & standards to ensure consistency, quality, efficiency, security, and productivity with solutions that are both cost optimized and right sized. This role will collaborate with other departments to prioritize software development needs including design, development, and documenting and testing new and existing software. Evaluate results within business units to determine if organizational objectives are being met.

As a member of the Solution Delivery leadership team, the role contributes to the development and execution of the Solutions Delivery strategy and ensures its alignment with the enterprise's business strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster a knowledge sharing culture and environment of open communication, collaboration, accountability, and problem solving.
• Increase team productivity by focusing on development, coaching, education, and support.
• Coordinates and leads daily team activities (to include offshore resources when engaged).
• May spend a portion of time performing the work of those they supervise.
• Assist with management decisions and activities. Working knowledge of teams’ functions within the organization.
• Develops and facilitates organizational models and structure changes needed to meet the evolving electronic business strategies.
• Establishes and implements enterprise-wide business systems.
• Collaborates with Enterprise Architect regarding technical strategy, design, construction, and maintenance of all marketing, commerce, and operational systems for platform websites.
• Accountable for budget, staff planning, management, and product and service delivery.
• Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team.
• Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
• Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, internal IT partners, and vendors.
• Lead or assist with negotiation of in-scope technology contracts.
• Keep current regarding trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in related field
• 10+ years of technical and management expertise.
• Experience managing complex technical projects.
