WHO YOU ARE

We’re looking for a Live Events Production Assistant with a strong sense of storytelling and a passion for the fast-paced world of television. You’ll play a hands-on role in supporting our broadcast and digital productions by cutting B-roll, helping build out show packages, searching for and maintaining research/statistical information, and ensuring content goes to air smoothly and professionally.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Editorial & Post-Production Support:

  • Participate in and contribute to pre-event production meetings
  • Select and cut B-roll footage to support narratives and visual flow in shows and packages
  • Assist editors and producers in assembling compelling feature segments, show packages and compelling on-air graphics
  • Assist in sourcing research materials and organizing information for on-air event coverage.
  • Write shot sheets and scripts on occasion.
  • Organize, tag, and archive video assets for future content needs
  • Coordinate with editors to ensure smooth delivery of final segments

Production Support (Pre, Live & Post):

  • Print research materials, organize documents and production notes for on-air talent and crew.
  • Operate teleprompter during live and recorded shows, adjusting on the fly as needed
  • Assist graphics operator to update statistics and information during before and during a live event
  • Monitor live show timings, log event action and assist playback operators
  • Support control room and studio operations during tapings and live broadcast
  • Work closely with senior production staff to ensure all materials are ready for edit sessions and live action shoots.

Administrative & Logistics:

  • Track and distribute production materials such as call sheets and rundowns
  • Assist with coordinating internal and external communication between departments
  • Help organize production spaces, manage supply runs, and support on-set logistics

     

WHO YOU ARE

  • You’re comfortable using non-linear editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) to cut B-roll and content clips
  • You’re familiar with various graphics platforms (e.g., Ross XPression or similar)
  • You understand basic broadcast standards and workflows
  • You work well both independently and as part of a production team
  • You’re passionate about storytelling, live production, and the American West
  • You have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment

     

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in TV or Live Event production
  • High school diploma required, bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. 
  • Experience in the Western sports and media industry or a passion for the Western lifestyle is a bonus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple people in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Position is full-time and is based in Ft. Worth, TX with limited travel.
