Who We Are

Maxwell Social is a private members home designed to feel like a home. The beautifully decorated 8,000 square feet space boasts three main rooms with two kitchens. We are focused on building out a small, curated, membership community.Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced private chef who also has experience in bartending to be an all-in-one person for our private event staff. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in culinary arts and mixology, with a passion for creating exceptional dining and drink experiences. While experience in cleaning and dishwashing is not required, the candidate should be willing to take on these tasks as part of their role.

Key Responsibilities

• Menu Planning and Cooking: Design and plan menus for dinners and events, catering to member preferences and dietary restrictions. Prepare and serve a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency, creativity, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

• Drink Preparation: Mix and serve drinks following established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality. Create custom drinks based on customer preferences.

• Shopping: Procure ingredients and supplies needed for meals and events, ensuring the freshest and highest quality products at good pricing.

• Clean-Up: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and event area. Ensure prompt removal of glassware and dishes from event areas. Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience as a private chef and bartender is required. Experience in cleaning and dishwashing is preferred but not required.

• Knowledge: Ability to create new menus and recipes. Strong creative bartending skills, including a wide variety of drink recipes and cocktail preparation techniques.

• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a busy, sometimes noisy environment.

• Personality: Outgoing, friendly, and approachable with a passion for customer service. Positive attitude, team player, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
