Summary

As a Part Marker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and identification of aerospace components. The ideal candidate should have a good eye for detail and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Inspect and verify part numbers, serial numbers, and other identifying information on aerospace components.
  • Apply appropriate markings, labels, and identification tags to aerospace parts as per industry and company standards.
  • Utilize various marking techniques including etching, engraving, and ink stamping.
  • Maintain accurate records of marked parts and ensure traceability in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure all markings meet specification standards.
  • Operate and maintain marking equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines during the marking process.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of marking processes and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits of marked parts to verify accuracy and compliance.
  • Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the relevant departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills / Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing or assembly operations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with marking tools and equipment used in aerospace part marking.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in marking components.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and regulations in an aerospace environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Required: Compliant with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S. Person status (ITAR defines “U.S. Person” as a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.)

Educational Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in aerospace or related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace assembly or a similar manufacturing environment.
