**Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first** The Medical Records Retrieval Representative (Risk Adjustment Representative 2) travels to provider offices within the region (Ventura County and surrounding areas) and scans medical records into a secure system. The records are reviewed by Humana's Coding staff. + Travel up to 50% of the time. Assigned area is Ventura County and surrounding areas as well as driving to locations that require overnight travel **.** + Use a laptop computer and a portable scanner to retrieve medical records which will be uploaded into a database + Schedule appointments and visits to physician offices in a timely, efficient manner to meet all deadlines **Use your skills to make an impact** **Required Qualifications** + Candidates must reside within Ventura County, California + 1+ years of experience with Medical Records or Electronic Medical Records + Must have reliable transportation + Ability to travel locally up to 50% of the time (Ventura County and surrounding areas) + Ability to travel overnight occasionally + This role is part of Humana's driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and are expected to maintain personal vehicle liability insurance. Individual must carry vehicle insurance in accordance with their residing state minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event /$10,000 for property damage or whichever is higher.  + Working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems + Demonstrated organizational skills + Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms **Preferred Qualifications** + Previous healthcare or health insurance experience + Familiarity with medical terminology **Additional Information** + This role is part of Humana's driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and are expected to maintain personal vehicle liability insurance. Individual must carry vehicle insurance in accordance with their residing state minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event /$10,000 for property damage or whichever is higher.  **Benefits Information:** Humana offers a variety of benefits to promote the best health and well-being of our employees and their families.
