6 MONTH POSITION COVERING A LEAVE OF ABSENCE!!! MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR EXPERINCE DISPATCHINF TRUCKLOADS Description + Receiving and Recording Information: + Dispatchers answer calls, gather information about incidents, and record details accurately in logs and systems. + Assessing and Prioritizing Calls: + They evaluate the urgency and nature of each call to determine the appropriate response and prioritize dispatching resources. + Dispatching Resources: + Dispatchers use radio, telephone, or computer systems to contact and coordinate with field units, providing them with essential information and instructions. + Maintaining Communication: + They act as a central point of contact for field units, relaying updates, providing directions, and coordinating with other agencies or personnel as needed. + Monitoring and Tracking: + Dispatchers track the location and status of field units, monitor ongoing situations, and ensure efficient resource allocation. + Providing Information and Support: + They may offer guidance to callers, provide information to field units, and help resolve issues as they arise. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
