**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager for the Food and Agribusiness West Team within the Commercial Banking Group. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com. \#CommercialBanking **In this role, you will:** + Participate in performing financial research, underwriting and structuring of Food and Agribusiness relationships within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area + Review and research business financial statements, tax returns and related financial information requiring an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors + Identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional area + Review and identify basic operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives while exercising independent judgement to guide deliverables + Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements + Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customers **Required Qualifications:** + 2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + Ability to thoroughly analyze credits on an independent basis and communicate findings in a concise manner + Knowledge and understanding of production agriculture or agribusinesses + Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills + Experience with financial modeling / forecasting + Underwriting experience including advanced commercial or specialty group relationship portfolio credit + Knowledge and understanding of cash flow lending + Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience importing, exporting, and manipulating data **Job Expectations:** + Ability to travel up to 10% of the time + This position does not support Visa Sponsorship + Ability to work a hybrid work schedule + Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
