Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership.
  • Communicate efficiently with the Service Advisor for additional services needed.
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Inspect vehicle computers and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade.
  • Conduct routine maintenance work aiming at vehicle functionality and longevity.
  • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks).
  • Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
  • Keep a log of work performed and vehicle issues.
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.

Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
  • Teammate with the ability to collaborate with others effectively.
  • ASE Certifications preferred.
  • Strong automotive background preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a clean/acceptable driving record.
  • Must be willing to participate in a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements
  • Environment – Requires frequent exposure to heat, cold, noise, and both inside and outside conditions.
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Must be able to read, write, and have repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, stretch, etc.
  • Requires the ability to visually inspect work.
