Chipton-Ross is seeking a Full-Stack Software Developer 4 for a contract opportunity in Seattle, WA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o More than 10 years of experience in software development including architecture, software design, and development.
o Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences, and be able to quickly understand new technologies and come up with technology insertion plans.
o Experience working in an Agile Software Development Methodology environment.
o Expert level hands-on development experience with Java and/or .NET/C# in implementing modern technical solutions for high performance production applications.
o Experience working directly with clients.
o Experience leading high impact projects and mentoring junior developers.
o Experience working on the full-stack from front-end all the way to deployment and scaling.
o Experience with DevOps.
o Experience in continuous integration and delivery CI/CD, deploying to cloud environments.
o Web or mobile application development experience.
o Exceptional software engineering knowledge; OO Design Principles.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Regular and predictable attendance is required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Stack Software Developer position in the BGS Program Management organization. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for exploring cutting edge data analytics solutions and developing cloud-native software architectures and associated development techniques. In this position, the candidate will lead the definition of software designs within a common framework to support multiple, and varying, data analytics projects worked across the organization. The candidate will be required to understand the various complex requirements across the portfolio of projects and assess each project to define best-value architecture designs to meet customer needs.

As a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer, the candidate will provide technical leadership to the team as well hands-on development, primarily in the areas of:
o Software architecture concepts, primarily cloud-based solutions.
o Cloud-based service models, such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
o Cutting edge cloud-native data analytics tools and solutions, predominantly driven by Open Source frameworks.

Other responsibilities include:
o Performing software development using an Agile operating model.
o Teaming successfully with product management by representing the software development function and advocating for effective & scalable technical solutions.
o Forecasts computational needs and capabilities. Influences program decision makers to use appropriate computational tools and processes.
o Pairing and partnering within and across teams to drive best practices and foster an inclusive and innovative work environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o At least 1 year of experience supporting and/or working on any cloud related technology or solution.
o Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration.
o Working knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, etc.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
